E. R . Hann is a Canadian novel-writer and artist with a background in animation. She is an animal lover and has been vegetarian for twelve years. She volunteers with an animal rescue and is the neighbourhood bunny lady.
My Story
I was born on the East coast of Canada but now have spent most of my life in Ottawa, Ontario. I graduated from the animation program of Algonquin College. I have always been creative and ambitious, and one of my most ambitious dreams was to become a published author. I finally achieved this by self-publishing Heart-Shaped Karaoke Box in 2025. I spent countless hours studying the craft of writing. Oftentimes, when I was working at my day job in animation, I would listen to podcasts about writing and publishing, if not listening to an excellent audiobook. HSKB is actually the second book I've written, my first book is now in re-writes as I learned so much by writing my second book. My second book will be out ASAP!
